Boiler Protection using Chembond Oxygen Scavenger

Maintaining an efficient boiler feedwater system is necessary to ensure efficient process and quality steam generation. Operating parameter fluctuations cause oxygen pitting and scale buildup on boiler tubes, as well as corrosion and iron deposits in the boiler, reducing system efficiency and the expected life of the equipment. A major chemical plant in Western India was experiencing scale buildup in its deaerator and steam drum. This resulted in a decline in plant productivity, prompting review and corrective action.
