1980–1985
Water treatment chemicals business established as part of the Chembond Group.
1990–1995
Parent company, Chembond Chemicals Ltd. listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
2000–2005
Acquisition of Drew Treat Chemicals and formation of a joint venture with Ashland Inc., USA for water treatment chemicals.
2005–2010
Manufacturing facility commissioned at Dudhwada, Gujarat.
2010–2015
Expansion of the water technologies portfolio with the introduction of water treatment equipment solutions. Manufacturing operations also commenced at the Ranipet, Tamil Nadu facility.
2015–2020
Chembond Water Technologies became a wholly owned subsidiary after acquiring shares held by JV partner Solenis Inc., USA (2017). During this period, the company also expanded internationally with the formation of Chembond Water Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. and Chembond Water Technologies (Thailand) Co. Ltd. Parent company Chembond Chemicals Limited achieved listing on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
